There are many ways you can contribute to our school’s success, and make a difference for our school and our students. In our school, this can include providing in-kind donations, contributing cash and lending expertise and technical knowledge. Connect with our principal on what may be appropriate. Current Fundraisers
Cowboy's Casino Fundraiser!
We are looking for volunteers to staff the Cowboy's Casino on April 13 & 14.
This opportunity allows us to raise approximately $70,000 for QES to enhance and enrich our kids' learning and experience at school. No experience is necessary and you don't need a student at QES to participate, so sign up with a friend, neighbor, or family member and come on down for some casino fun. A meal at the casino restaurant is included for all who volunteer. If we do not get enough volunteers, we lose this opportunity to raise these significant funds for our school, as well as future casino opportunities.

If you happen to be buying Mabel’s Labels, please note that QES has a fundraising account with them, so if you’re buying, be sure to support our fundraiser!
QES also has a fundraising account with Skip the Depot – you can have your bottles, cans and more pick up directly from your home and the proceeds will be paid to QES!

Donating to Our School
Ways to give to our school include:
Monetary (cash) Donation
- I wish to receive a tax receipt for my donation. Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.
- Visit the EducationMatters online donation webpage to make a donation. (Preferred donation method)
- Write a cheque payable to EducationMatters (all one word) and include the name of our school and the specific program, activity or item you want your donation to support in the 'memo' section. Give the cheque to the school or mail it to: EducationMatters, 1221 8 Street SW Calgary, AB T2R 0L4
- I do not wish to receive a tax receipt for my donation
- Write a cheque made payable to Calgary Board of Education and include the name of our school and the specific program, activity or item you want your donation to support in the 'memo' section. Give the cheque to the school.
