Hello, Wolf Pack Families!
We opened the week, in the sunshine, with our whole school photo on our beautiful school playground. It’s a heartwarming experience having our Wolfpack together, capturing our unique year and one-of-a-kind community. Next, we look forward to adding this year’s photo to our office hallway, for folks to note the differences year-to-year for this annual tradition.
Yesterday, our incredible grade 6 patrollers were able to celebrate their year alongside our entire city’s patrol teams at the annual AMA School Safety Patrol Appreciation Day Picnic at Heritage Park. Thank you to each of our patrollers for your commitment and efforts in keeping our school safe. Thank you, too, to Mr. Tinaburri and to our grade 6 teaching team for your supervision and mentorship with our entire patrol team.
-Travis Robertson, Principal
Gratitude to Parent Society | Flexible Seating & Furniture
Enormous thanks to our Parent Society for their generosity in purchasing flexible seating and furniture for our foyer, for the end each downstairs/upstairs hallway. Furniture arrived last week, and our Wolfpack students are so excited to be able to gather in these spaces more meaningfully and easily. Wolfpack staff, too, are continuing to think about how these spaces can be used to support learning and collaboration. We cannot wait for you to see the design and these new additions; a lot of heart went into this long-term project and investment in our school.
Reminder | Bicycles, Scooters, and other Wheels
As a courtesy reminder, we also want to remind students and visitors about:
Wheeling to/from school.
- For personally owned wheels, racks exist for both bicycles and scooters (for locking), with no wheeling permitted on school property (before, during, or after school).
- Bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, and scooters must be dismounted and walked, once upon school property.
Personal property:
- School or staff members are not responsible for lost/stolen/damaged bicycles/scooters/wheels/etc. as proper locks, etc. are considered by parents/guardians/students for student use.
Notification | School Library Book Returns, due: Fri. June 12
Ms. Van Steensis in our Learning Commons (library) is asking for all school loans to be returned by Friday, June 12. Please take a good look for any QES materials (whether library materials and classroom materials) and ensure everything is returned back to our school through homeroom teachers.
If a book or material has been ‘missing’ for some time, we would still appreciate its safe return to our school, without consequence.
Notification | Report Cards available Thurs., June 25
Families can view, download or print online report cards for kindergarten to Grade 12 students June 25 – July 31, 2026 through MyCBE. Within MyCBE, families can also view student information, comments from your child's teacher, assignments and grades, and attendance information.
Please note: After July 31, 2026, report cards will no longer be available to access in MyCBE.
More information and resources are available on CBE's Assessment & Reporting website.

Reminder | Grade 6 Provincial Achievement Tests (PAT’s)
Following Grade 6’s earlier Part A English Language Arts and Literature (ELA&L) writing exam last week, the following assessments remain:
- Fri., June 12 – Science 6
- Mon., June 15 – Math 6 Part A
- Thur., June 18 – Math 6 Part B
You may note that Social Studies is not listed above. This is because 2025-26 was the first year of a new curriculum for Grade 6, meaning no Social Studies PAT will be held in this school year.
Moving? | Notifying our School for 2026-27 Planning
A reminder to families: If you are aware that your child will be moving to a new school for the upcoming school year, please inform the school office by e-mailing our school’s general inbox at your earliest convenience. This information helps us with planning and staffing.
