Hello, Wolfpack Families!
With our first snowfall now behind us and Picture Day happening today, October is certainly moving along! In the Blackfoot calendar, we are in Mo’kaato’s, the Fall Moon, a time of seasonal change as the warmth and colours of early fall begin giving way to the colder days ahead.
Regardless of the weather, there is still much ahead for our Wolfpack community this fall. In the coming weeks, we look forward to our October School Council meeting. With November just around the corner, our annual Remembrance Day preparations will also begin to take shape ahead of Fall Break.
A little further down the road, Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences will take place on November 26 and 27. We will continue to share more detailed information and reminders as each event approaches.
Your proud principal,
Travis Robertson
Refresh | Updating Our Wolf(pack) Logo
What does it mean to be part of the Wolfpack?
That is one of the questions we will be exploring with students as we begin refreshing our school logo.
Following discussions with School Council, Grade 5 students, alongside administration and teaching staff, are helping lead an engagement process across the school. They will develop questions that invite students to reflect on our school community, identity, and what our Wolfpack logo should represent.
Families will also have an opportunity to contribute. Following our student engagement, we will share what we are hearing and invite parent/guardian feedback through a survey. Our Grade 5 students will then work with the CBE Communications design team as a refreshed logo begins to take shape.
We look forward to hearing the ideas, perspectives, and voices of our Wolfpack community.
Optional | Friday, October 30
Students and staff are invited to wear costumes that allow for safe and free movement on Friday, October 30. Students and staff may also choose to wear orange or black.
Please remember the following costume guidelines:
- No masks.
- No weapons or weapon replicas.

If in doubt, please check with your child’s teacher ahead of time.
