Hello, Wolf Pack Families!
With this especially cold weather settling in, we’re taking the opportunity this week to stay indoors a little more and enjoy being together within classroom communities. Taking the opportunity to slow down, our classrooms have been filled with cozy learning, indoor activities, and time for connection. It’s been energizing to hear some heartfelt cheering for Team Canada and some medal counts in classrooms within some of our informal indoor time.
A quick reminder that report cards will be available virtually to families next week (on Tuesday, February 24). We look forward to sharing all the wonderful learning and growth we’ve seen from our students. With that we send warm wishes to each of our families.

Upcoming | Pink Shirt Day
On Wednesday, February 25 students and staff are invited to wear pink as part of Pink Shirt Day.
In 2007, in response to a new Grade 9 student being bullied for wearing a pink shirt, two Nova Scotia high school students took a stand against bullying by distributing pink shirts. This act of kindness has grown into a symbol against bullying in schools across Canada, and even across the globe. Promoting inclusion is something that occurs in our schools every day. Check out some of the information and resources available:

Reminder | School Council & Parent Society
School Council meets at 6:30 PM on our school “stage”, connected to our school gym. Our Grade 5 team will be providing a grade-team update and the Acknowledgment of the Land. During this meeting will also be providing an update on QES’ School Development Planning, inviting feedback and questions from parent/guardians.
Our Parent Society meets following School Council discussions on the school “stage”, as well.
