Hello, Wolf Pack Families!

November (and March) Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences are important opportunities for parents/guardians and teachers to celebrate student progress and set goals together. Discussions focus on learning (academic achievement), social-emotional well-being (character and citizenship), and strategies for success (personal development). We value an ongoing partnership and encourage open dialogue and communication within each conference, encouraging questions and insights.

Alberta’s ‘new’ curriculum promotes the development of 8 interrelated competencies. Our school is collectively taking a look at the competency of Personal Growth & Well-Being. This competency was chosen as a focus because of the conferencing season. It will be exciting to see where our Wolf Pack students are headed with their personal goals, with each of their own unique interests, opportunities, and passions. Each subject-discipline (subject) uncovers new and unique possibilities for furthering Personal Growth & Well-Being efforts.

Thank you for the rich discussions and meaningful questions at last night’s School Council & Parent Society meetings. Special thanks goes to our Grade 2 team for leading off our time with a learning showcase. We are very grateful for—and a inspired by—the fundraising efforts and volunteer contributions of our parent/guardian community.

Update | 2025-26 Assessment & Reporting Timeline

Students across the Calgary Board of Education (CBE) receive two digital report cards each school year through MyCBE.  CBE students will have their first report card for 2025-26 visible to parents/guardians and students on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Reminder | Student Illnesses

We know attendance decisions are often difficult as families aim to prioritize learning and usual routines.

Reminders relating to General Health Measures are available, here, including:

  • In all matters of health, CBE takes direction from Alberta Education and Alberta Health Services. The following health measures can reduce the spread and lessen the impact of illness in school communities. These include:
  • stay home when feeling sick;
  • if possible, avoid close contact with people who are sick.

As we monitor attendance and illness trends, please ensure the school is notified of absences (and whether or not those absences relate to illness) prior to any school absence.

Reminder | Individual Program Plans (IPPs)

As a reminder, if you did not yet receive a finalized version of your child’s IPP prior to labour action, please know that our system has extended the deadline for teachers to complete documents and review them with families until November 28. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child(ren)’s teacher, directly.
